Party for the Puppies

This is a story that needs to be told in words and pictures. Sadie decided (on her own) to have a birthday party for the animals at the Animal Shelter.

It all started, when she went to a birthday party in January for one of Oliver's friends. She said, "I don't need that many presents! I am going to have my friends bring presents for the dogs at the shelter." Where she got this idea, I do not know!

But, honestly, I thought she would forget this plan. Instead, she planned and planned her party and became more passionate about doing it for the animals. She even told people they couldn't buy her presents because they would be getting things for the animals.

So, I called the LS Animal Shelter to ask what types of donations they would like and they offered that we have the party in their meeting room and take a tour.

Party for the Puppies was in full swing!

The guests arrived at the shelter, did crafts and projects in the party room, opened all the presents for the animals and then took a tour of the shelter. Back in the meeting room, they enjoyed puppy cupcakes and then we took a picture of all the donations. What a wonderful day. The pictures show how much fun it was. Enjoy!
