Our day was intended to be at the water park with our old friend Mitchell. Mother Nature had other plans and gave us a stormy/balmy/humid day, instead we had a wonderful adventure at the nature center (and the nearby park.) Our day was complete with puppet shows, "burrowing" in hollow logs and bird nests, hiking trails in the rain and so much wildlife! Most popular events were chasing turkey, finding feathers, spotting frogs and holding a walking stick! Best of all was getting to know what a fine young man Mitchell has turned out to be...thanks so much to my dear friend Carrie, his former foster parent.
