Holiday Outtakes

Holiday picture time, say cheeeeeeeeeeesssssssssssseeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Ever tried to get puppies in a box? That is what this endeavor felt like...

I sure thought that getting two school aged children to stand next to each other would be less challenging...

Is this a good place? We are next to each other!
What about here, mom

I am going to mess this up, no matter what! This is FUN!

Blackmail

Have you seen my clean cut husband anywhere? This cave man castaway has taken his place!
He looked great when Sadie added ponytails to this coif!

BFF

Sadie got to spend most of the day Saturday at Emma's house, so it would only be fair for Emma to spend most of the day here on Sunday, right!? They made cookies before they went to "work" as Mrs. K and Mrs. S their kindergarten teachers. MANY of their students were sent to the "pincibul." Oh, no.

Sadie loves Sassy!

Sadie takes great joy in loving on Sassy, Grammie's dog. She has a t-shirt with Sassy's picture, babysits her whenever possible and loves to take her to visit Grammie!!

Holiday Night at Meadow Lane Elementary

Everyone has heard me say how much I love my new school. One of the amazing things is the
PTA! Each year they host a holiday night filled with crafts and holiday games for kids. Sadie and Oliver spent about an hour on these houses (and then Molly ate them...) As you can see, they took a few bites in the process. The PTA also hosted a gingerbread house contest- we made a gingerbread barn and barnyard (don't look closely or you will see iced gorillas, lions, and bears...) The kids were very proud of their creation!

St Louis Excursion

Our Thanksgiving tradition was changed up a little bit this year. We headed for a weekend in St. Louis to celebrate with Trafton's stepfather's family. We included a cousin excurision day to the St. Louis Arch, the Zoo and Union Station- all on the Metro! If you have ever been in the arch, it has not changed since the last time you were there! Traf and the kids are pictured in the egg shaped tram. The kids are pictured with their COUSINS- their favorite people!!

Thanksgiving Lessons

Sadie loves school and absorbs all the lessons. Here is her rendition of Native American History and the first Thanksgiving!
